"This is the Tiger Wood French bocce says Xavier Thibaud, sports director of the New York Petanque Club. The young world champion bowls Dylan Rock returns to New York for the second time.
 
To celebrate the return of the prodigal son, the two petanque clubs of New York (New York Petanque Club and The New York Ball) the host to Bryant Park in the afternoon of August 23. Like last year, Dylan Rocher try to beat his record shooting 100 balls in limited time. "Last year, he had typed 97 balls, said Xavier Thibaud. August 24 and 25, the New York Petanque Club organizes a tournament in Prospect Park, on the grounds of Parade Ground (corner of Caton Avenue and Coney Island Avenue in the park). To participate, simply be a two-man team ($ 75 per team for two days) and get his balls. The tournament is also open to non-licensed games and balls will be provided by the club.
