Dear members and friends NYPC,
We are very pleased and proud to host for the second consecutive year, the world champion Dylan Rock for our second edition of the Challenge Pierre Robert, August 24 & 25, 2013!
Since we last saw Dylan, he became senior world champion in Marseille last October, playing games flawlessly throughout the tournament, and receive praise not only from the international press, but of all his peers. Citing his partner and also world champion, Henry Lacroix, "Dylan is the best shooter in the world right now." Before the world championship, and just after his return from New York, Dylan won the Masters Petanque and many other tournaments, including a national Dijon where he not only won the triple with his father and JM Puccinelli, but also won one in the same weekend! We promise, once again, a weekend full of entertainment and bowls full of competition and fun.
The tournament will be a double selection. Award $ 1,000 first prize with a total purse of $ 3,500
The entrance fee is $ 75 per team. (No breakfast)
 
Tournament Format:
 
Saturday: 5 games and qualifying top 16 teams (based on 32 teams) + 1/8 final preparation for Sunday.
Sunday: The main contest: 2 groups of 4 ... Top 2 teams qualify + 1/2 final (at 15:00) + final (at 17:00)
Consolation A: 16 teams Saturday + 8 teams 1/8 final + any new teams ($ 30 registration) ... knockout. Price on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th team
Consolation B Consolation A Losing teams .... knockout. Awards for 1st and 2nd teams
